Rep. Mark Harris issues statement on government funding bill

WASHINGTON, DC — On Saturday, Representative Mark Harris (NC-8) issued the following statement on the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025:

"The House is set to vote on a spending bill next week that will fully fund the government and gives President Trump the tools he needs to continue cutting wasteful spending and needless bureaucracy. Not only does it include cuts to government spending by $7 billion compared to last year, but it sets the stage for the upcoming reconciliation process which will reform mandatory spending, secure the border, and extend tax cuts that our economy and American families desperately need.
